How Ebola affects our bodies

Ebola is systemic meaning it attacks every organ and tissue of the human body except the bones and skeletal muscles. The main site of attack in the human body is the circulatory system because the virus kills cells inside of blood vessels causing them to leak and stopping the blood from clotting. Also it attacks connective tissue by multiplying in the collagen. The collagen is the tissue that keeps your organs in place and the virus basically digests it. This causes small blood clots to form in the bloodstream. The bloodstream then thickens and blood flow slows down and does not allow a proper blood supply to many organs, resulting in multi-organ failures.
Due to this, every other system in the human body starts to fail as well because they don't have access to the necessary organs to perform their function. For example, the excretory system fails because the main organs in the system which are the kidneys fail to filter out the toxic liquid from the body. This results in the blood being poisoned with urine which continues poisoning the entire body. Clearly, the virus is extremely dangerous because it attacks your whole body at the same time.
